French American School of Tampa Bay
By offering the best of both the American and French education systems, the French American School of Tampa Bay (FASTB) gives students from Pre-K through 12th grade the opportunity to be exposed to various teaching methods and a variety of rich, international curriculum.
With a location in beautiful St. Petersburg, this multicultural school places a grand emphasis on learning through art and music, allowing students to explore their passions and develop their interests at a young age. Students are even given the opportunity of private Suzuki instrument lessons and benefit from small class sizes.

French immersion
At FASTB, children learn language the most natural way possible. They do not sit for hours and memorize vocab, they learn from complete immersion. Since classes are taught in French, students are constantly engaging in the language and interacting with it. By participating in immersive programs like this, it creates students who are more open minded and tolerant of differences early on.
The French American School of Tampa Bay is accredited “homologué” by AEFE and the French Ministry of Education. This entails that your child will receive education that is equivalent to the French standard. The founder and head of the school, a Frenchman named Willy LeBihan, brings 25 years of teaching experience along with a plethora of accomplishments. He strongly encourages parents to give their children the opportunity to learn a foreign language early on.
FASTB is an active organization that is involved in the community through programs like summer camps and adult education.
