La Croisette: An atypical restaurant in St Pete Beach

La Croisette is a casual breakfast hub filled with a mix of loyal local customers and tourists. Since its opening over 35 years ago, it has become famous for its delicious breakfast and charming atmosphere.

The restaurant was originally created in 1982 by Mr. and Mrs. Pedaggi, a French couple that immediately fell in love with the beautiful town of St Pete beach.
In the 2000’s their daughter-in-law Beverly Pedaggi bought La Croisette from them, and the famous Beverly’s La Croisette was born.

New Owners

Almost 2 years ago and nearly 40 years after the Pedaggi’s, Mickael and Natalie Roche, the new owners, also fell in love with St. Pete Beach.

Originally from France, they simply knew they found their new home after a quick trip to the elected best beach of the US and coming across La Croisette. Since then, the couple worked hard to renovate and improve the interior for their customers.

Now painted bubble gum pink with bright blue accents, the facade features a colorful mural from local design team Vitale Bros, which attracts drivers and walkers in the small downtown strip of St. Pete Beach.
Inside, the dining room has a warm and relaxed atmosphere, with a register at the front that hides a glass display case featuring pastries such as croissants, pains au chocolat, and other delicious French specialties.

While much of the appeal of La Croisette is the charming atmosphere and the crowds of little beach goers, you can also order an iced coffee and some french pastries at the counter to take your breakfast to the beach. What a great way to start the day!

What’s cooking at la croisette ?

The Roche’s have made sure to respect the tradition of the restaurant, bringing only slight changes to the original menu.

The new items available are the French-inspired dishes, a breakfast must-have for the new owners, that have proved popular with many longtime regulars.

A daily crepe might come filled with fresh fruits and chocolate, while warm, flaky, buttery croissants are sourced from a French baker in New York. Those croissants also serve as the basis to several breakfast sandwiches.

Discover their tempting menu and enjoy a delicious meal, before relaxing at the beach located less than a minute away from the restaurant. The perfect recipe for an incredible weekend.
